Termlio ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered school calendar assistant that turns notes, emails, and photos into calendar events. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Termlio you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account info: name, email, and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including via Google).
• Content you provide: text, images, and documents you upload so we can extract events and reminders.
• Calendar data: if you connect Google Calendar, we access the calendars you authorize so we can create and manage events on your behalf.
• Usage data: basic logs, device and browser information, and error reports to keep the service reliable.
• Billing data: if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details.

How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Termlio service.
• Extract events and reminders from the content you submit.
• Sync events with your connected calendars.
• Communicate with you about your account, security, and updates.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.

Google user data

When you connect Google Calendar, Termlio uses Google APIs strictly to read and write calendar events you authorize. Termlio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security, to comply with law, or for limited debugging.

You can disconnect Google access at any time from your account settings or via your Google Account permissions.

AI processing

Content you submit may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as Google and OpenAI) to extract events. These providers process the content to return results to us and are contractually restricted from using it to train their models on your data.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers who run our infrastructure (hosting, database, email, analytics, AI, payments).
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

Termlio is intended for parents and guardians. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
